Terms of service

These terms apply when you use Daily Shipped (dailyshipped.com). By signing in or submitting a listing you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

The service

Daily Shipped is a free directory of newly launched startups. Anyone can submit a launch, and a person reviews every listing before it is published. Listing is free. We may change or discontinue features at any time.

Your account

• You need an account to submit, vote or report. Keep your sign-in details to yourself.
• One person, one account. Creating extra accounts to get around limits or to vote more than once is not allowed.
• You must be at least 16 years old.

Submitting a listing

• You may submit any real, live product, whether or not you made it. The information must be accurate and not misleading.
• Submitting doesn't guarantee publication. We may edit, decline or remove any listing at our discretion, for example if it is spam, misleading, illegal, a duplicate, or not a startup.
• You give us permission to publish the text, links and images you submit, and the public name, icon, preview image and screenshots of the submitted website, so we can show and share the listing (including on social media).
• Each website is listed once. Accounts can have 2 launches in review at a time and submit up to 6 per 30 days.

Claiming a listing

The maker of a product can claim its listing by proving they control the website (a tag on the homepage or a DNS record). A claimed listing shows a Verified stamp and can be edited by its owner. Only claim a website you actually control. If you believe a listing was claimed by the wrong person, email us.

What our review does and doesn't mean

• Before a listing is published, a person checks that the product is real and live: the website works, there is a way to use or buy it, and it isn't a placeholder or obvious spam.
• That is a basic check, not a test. We don't try every feature, audit security or privacy, or confirm that a product does what it claims. A listing is not an endorsement or a guarantee.
• The Verified stamp means the maker proved they control the website. It says who runs the listing, not that the product is good or safe.
• Products change after they are listed. Do your own research before you sign up, share personal data or pay, and report a listing that looks wrong or harmful so we can review it again.

Contacting makers

• Verified makers can receive messages through their listing. Use it for genuine questions, partnerships, press or feedback.
• No sales spam, scams, harassment or requests for passwords or payment details. We may suspend accounts that misuse it.
• We pass messages on but don't read or vouch for them. Be careful with anything that asks for money or personal data.

Things you must not do

• Buy, trade or arrange votes, or use bots or scripts on the site.
• Submit spam, malware, phishing, adult content, gambling, or anything illegal.
• Impersonate a person or company, or claim a website you don't control.
• Try to break, overload or get around the site's security or limits.
• Scrape the site in a way that affects its performance.

Reports and removal

Anyone signed in can report a listing. A person reads every report and may edit, unpublish or keep the listing. If you own a product and want its listing changed or removed, email teamdailyshipped@gmail.com. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.

Links to other sites

Listings link to websites we don't control. We review listings but can't vouch for the products, their safety or their claims. Use them at your own judgement.

No warranty and limitation of liability

Daily Shipped is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or data, or for anything a listed product does. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms and will change the date at the top when we do. Continuing to use the site means you accept the updated terms.
