In brief · compiled from nine16.app

What is it?
nine16 turns public YouTube videos or uploaded files into short, captioned clips in vertical, portrait, or square formats.
Who is it for?
It is for people making videos for TikTok, YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and Facebook Reels, including podcast, interview, tutorial, and vlog creators.
How does it work?
Paste a public YouTube link or upload a file up to 100 MB. nine16 reads the transcript, selects self-contained moments, scores them, frames the action, adds captions, and provides post text and hashtags.
What does it cost?
You get 5 free clips with no card required. After that, the site says you pay for clips rather than minutes, but it does not state the price.
